Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains when you can cancel an order and how refunds are handled for orders placed with Lajawab Family Restaurant. Because we prepare food fresh to order, timing matters — please read the cancellation windows below.
1. Cancellation by you
- Before we accept the order: you can cancel for a full refund. (You can cancel from your order screen while the status is "received".)
- After we accept and start preparing: the order generally cannot be cancelled, as cooking has begun. If you still wish to cancel, contact us immediately and we will help where possible; a partial charge may apply.
- Out for delivery / ready for pickup: cancellation is not available.
2. Cancellation by us
We may cancel an order (e.g. an item is unavailable, the address is outside our area, or for operational reasons). If we cancel after you have paid, you receive a full refund.
3. Issues with your order
If something is wrong — missing item, incorrect item, or a genuine quality problem — contact us within [2 hours] of delivery/pickup with your order number and (if possible) a photo. After review we may offer a replacement, a partial refund, or a full refund depending on the issue.
4. Refund method & timelines
- Refunds are made to your original payment method via Razorpay.
- Once approved, we initiate the refund within [24–48 hours].
- It then typically reaches your account within [5–7 business days], depending on your bank/UPI provider.
- For UPI, refunds are usually faster (often [1–3 business days]).
5. Non-refundable
Orders already prepared/collected/delivered without a genuine quality issue, and any taxes/charges already remitted, are non-refundable except as required by law.
